The tour starts at the Chapel of St. John and leads over 22 kilometres across the Ranuierboden to the Zannes parking area and on to the Gampen Alp. From there, you follow the forest road to the Zannes Alp and continue to the Geisler Alp, before returning to Ranui via the forest road. The tour takes around two hours and requires a moderate level of fitness.
The easy to moderate Peitlerkofel circuit has a length of 59.8 kilometres and can also be shortened along the way. On this tour, you cycle around the Peitlerkofel as well as the Ruefen. Along the route, there are options to branch off towards Brixen and St. Vigil.
